The Children’s Ability Fund, Rhubarb Jones & J’lyn Nye from The JOE Show welcomes you to the first annual "Bid to Bowl Celebrity Auction" pre-event in support of the JOE FM Bowl for Children.
On Monday, May 11, 2009, the 11th Annual JOE FM Bowl for Children will be held at Gateway Entertainment Centre. This event pairs your team of 4 people with a local celebrity for a game of 10 pin bowling, good food and a chance to win great prizes.
Every year we are flooded with requests from our event participants who want that particular celebrity on their team! Here is your chance to bid on that special someone to be your team captain while supporting a great cause. 10 fabulous Edmonton personalities are shaking their money makers in an effort to help us reach our $30,000 goal this year. Join us from March 16-23 and let the bidding begin (bidding starts at $100 and would include the cost of your team entry).
All proceeds go to the Children’s Ability Fund’s and will assist them in continuing to provide funding for equipment to enhance the independence of people with disabilities.
