Sellers should specify if they can meet on campus (or an alternative location).

CampusAuctionMarket.com is not an Auctioneer. Our site acts as a venue to allow anyone to offer, sell, and buy just about anything, at anytime. We are not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. As a result, we have no control over the quality, safety or legality of the items advertised, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of sellers to sell items or the ability of buyers to buy items. We cannot ensure that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction. Therefore, we will NOT act as an intermediary to help resolve any problems between buyers and sellers
We use techniques to identify our users when they register on our site. However, because user verification on the Internet is difficult, CampusAuctionMarket.com cannot and does not confirm each user's purported identity. To help you evaluate with whom you are dealing, we have established a user-initiated feedback system where buyers and sellers can leave a feedback at the completion of a transaction. If you earn a net feedback rating of -4 (minus four), your membership may be suspended, and you may be unable to list or bid. We also encourage you to communicate directly with potential trading partners through the tools available on our site.

2. Research Project Consent
This site, which is a free service to subscribers, is designed and maintained by Professor Peter T.L. Popkowski Leszczyc of the marketing department at the University of Alberta. This site is created for academic purposes to collect data on bidding behaviour in auctions. This consent form is only part of the process of informed consent. It should give you an idea of what the research is about and what your participation will involve. firstname.lastname@example.org and obtain written results regarding any research from this project.
This website has been created to study bidding behaviour in auctions. We are interested in studying the effectiveness of different characteristics of the auction, such as the usage and level of reserve prices, usage and level of buy now prices, and the duration of auctions. As well as studying which types of products are most effectively sold through auctions, as a single product or as a package (e.g. a bundle of goods). For more information on my research intrests, please visit my website (see research intrests and publications and working papers).
This research project has received Human Research Ethics approval at the University of Alberta. Funding for this research has been provided by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, the University of Alberta, Central Research Fund and the School of Business Faculty Fellowship.

Every effort will be made to keep your information confidential. We may publish reports based on this data in the future, but any personally identifying details will be removed.
